NEWS
John Symond of Aussie Home Loans will honour us by opening the 2010 Show.
"Aussie" John was born in Crookwell and his father (who will also be attending the show with his famous son) owned a Green Grocer's business in Crookwell. We can expect to hear more about this Crookwell connection during his opening speach.

Parking: On grounds parking has become a real issue for a few reasons. The biggest problem is the public liability associated with vehicle entering such venues. The Crookwell Show is one of the last shows that has entertained off street parking for patrons. You would be hard pressed to name another show that permits it.
Our show is expanding but our space is finite. So even if we were able to cater for parking on the grounds, then some events or attractions would need to be restricted or eliminated altogether.
People that have legitimate walking impairment; the aged or disabled, will be catered for in one of a couple of ways.
If they need to sit in a car to watch ring events etc, which we have always had special parking available. This will remain in place and they or their representative can attend the show office during the two weeks prior to the show and purchase their parking permit and space. (only valid cases will be accepted.)
Anyone that will be conveying aged or impaired persons can also enter the grounds to drop their passengers off by arrangement with the gatekeepers. You will have a few minutes to drop your passengers and leave the grounds again for off ground parking.
Parking will be available at Todkill Park (Hockey Grounds).
Stall Holders must liaise with the Groundsperson if they require on ground parking for the operation of their stall and/or for overnight camping.
Horse Floats and Cattle Trucks will have specific areas to park and must adhere to the directions of the groundsperson so that not to obstruct nor hinder other patrons or the operations of the show.
