The AP&H Society’s “Young Farmer Challenge” Chief Stewards, Bec Hewitt and Gearin Price are calling for nominations for teams to compete in the Crookwell Show’s event on Saturday evening, 11th February 2012.
Crookwell Show has a proud history with the Young Farmer Challenge being the first show in Australia to conduct the event. The event has now gone statewide and is soon to become a national event.
Young Farmer Challenge in Crookwell Show had its beginning in 2009 when Alison McIntosh introduced it here. Alison had been to New Zealand and witnessed their version of the event called “Young Farmer Competition”.
Teams contain four members who are between the ages of 16 and 35 years.
Entry is $20 per team. You can enter by contacting Bec Hewitt or Gearin Price.
Winning Team 1st Prize is four tickets to the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
