General Exhibition Rules

1 Awards will be made public as judged.


2 The decision of the Committee shall be final in all cases.


3 All exhibits, except where specified, must be the bona-fide property of the exhibitor. Exhibitors must make a
Statutory Declaration as to ownership, age or breeding etc, if required by the Committee, or forfeit the prize won.


4 No entry will be required for any Champion or Aggregate Prize, nor will a fee be charged for such, unless specified.


5 Crossbred sheep will be defined as a cross between two breeds.


6 The Judge may order a Certificate of Merit to any exhibit considered worthy.


7 An exhibitor bringing diseased, dangerous or noxious exhibits must remove same if requested to do so by the Stewards.


8 Any exhibitors wishing to dispose of their exhibits may attach to each exhibit the price wanted, on condition of payment to the Society of five (5) percent commission in case of sale.


9 All exhibits in the Pavilion must not be removed until the Sunday of the Show. The Pavilion will be cleared of all persons on the Sunday of the Show at 3:45 PM. At 4:00 PM the Pavilion will be re-opened for the removal of exhibits, when the exhibitors or their agents shall be in attendance to take delivery of their respective exhibits. Any exhibits not collected will be deemed as donated to the Crookwell AP&H Society.


10 All protests must be lodged with the Secretary within 24 hours of the notification of the Judge’s award. Each protest must be accompanied by a deposit of $15.00 which will be forfeited should the protest be deemed by a majority of the Committee to be frivolous.


11 The Society will not be responsible for any accident that may be caused through or by an exhibitor or exhibit. And it shall be a condition of the entry that such exhibitor shall hold the Society blameless and indemnify it against any legal proceedings arising from such accident, and the Society will not, under any circumstances, be responsible for any loss or miss-delivery of livestock or other exhibits of any kind, or any injury done thereto.


12 No distinctive marks allowed on exhibits in the Pavilion.
